Hi, My name is Winnie, and I am the deputy manager at The Ashton Care Home. I am a registered general nurse and have worked in the NHS and Special Care for 15 years. I lived with and looked after my grandparents for 12 years and I believe that’s how my passion for working with the elderly started. I have now been at the Ashton for six months and I love working here. I like to see myself as a problem solver and I am always happy to help when needed.

I have worked in care for the last five years. After four years of working in the home I have progressed to become a senior care assistant, and I hope to continue progressing to become a nurse in the near future. I enjoy working in the care sector as it makes me feel happy being able to help other people, and to make an improvement to their everyday life.
