The Ashton Care Home is a private 72-bedroom nursing home, situated in the scenic town of Hinckley. Our wonderful team has a wealth of knowledge and is committed to offering a comprehensive approach to care as well as a warm, personal touch to each of our residents. Our objective is to provide the best care alongside a variety of enriching activities and luxuriously decorated home to ensure we maintain residents’ well-being and sense of routine.

Our lovely en-suite rooms have been tastefully designed to the highest quality. All rooms are equipped with bedroom furniture, a profiling bed, TV, WiFi, a Nurse Call System and an accessible en-suite – all designed with comfort and ease in mind.

Support, Every Step of the Way

Our ‘move-in coordinators’ are ready to assist new residents in making the transition to The Ashton Care Home as easy as possible. Our helpful staff can assist residents with moving furniture and equipment into their new room. We make every effort to make the transition as easy and enjoyable as possible. We work with residents and their families to plan the transfer and are there to assist them every step of the way.

Each of our suites has been fitted to the highest standards, providing residents with comfortable furnishings within the beautifully designed accommodation. All of our bedrooms are spacious singles with en-suite facilities and feature specialised equipment including nurse call systems, smoke detectors, and temperature controlled central heating, in addition to either a standard or specialist nursing bed.

Residents are encouraged to bring any personal objects or small furnishings to help them feel more at ease and tailor their room to their taste. We’ve seen how a small collection of personal items, such as photo’s, mementos and ornaments, can completely transform a place.

Residents are encouraged to invite family and friends to visit them at The Ashton. Please contact us for the most up-to-date information about our visiting policies. Staying in touch with loved ones outside of the home is a big priority for us, and so we’ve invested in technology and high-speed WiFi so residents can stay in touch with people who matter most to them at any time of day.
