CQC Inspection Success

At The Ashton Care Home in Hinckley, we are extremely proud to announce that our recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has resulted in us being awarded an overall 'Good' rating.

The CQC is an independent regulator of health and social services in England, and they provide comprehensive inspections to ensure that these services are meeting their standards under the categories Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. During their recent inspection of our home, we were monitored and rated 'Good' in all five categories, and 'Good' overall.

Emma Weston, our Home Manager, commented "I joined the care home back in 2021 during what was and continued to be a really difficult time for the sector and immediately I recognised that I was working with a team that was some of the most dedicated and committed people that I have had the pleasure of working with in this sector.  It is through our collective teamwork that we strive to provide the very best in person-centred care for each of our residents and to make sure that every day they have the very best quality of life. The team is so engaging and genuinely cares dearly for the residents and I am so delighted that their efforts have been recognised on our recent inspection."

Emma went on to further comment "The Ashton really is like an extended family, the home is a really friendly and engaging environment where there is always lots going on, everyone goes out of their way to get to know the preferences of each of the residents to ensure that they feel supported as well as having companionship and the very best in care around the clock."

We are currently delighted to be welcoming new residents to the home. To find out more book a tour to visit our home here, or contact us directly and we will be happy to help.
