The residents have been busy enjoying live entertainment at The Ashton Care Home this month. Sam delivered a wonderful show with a special request to Barry one of our residents. The care home also received a visit from interactive Mike who gave out song sheets to the residents so they could all sing and dance along.
Our activities coordinators deliver many engaging and interactive activities to our residents that ensure they stay stimulated. Singing is a much-loved activity at The Ashton Care Home as it is an opportunity for our residents to come together whilst bonding over their favourite songs that can have them reminiscing on past experiences.
A considerable part of our care home is the relationships and bonds formed through activities, which is why our devoted team ensure to go above and beyond to provide our residents with an all-inclusive activities programme that caters to a wide range of interests for people of all ages and abilities.
Whether our residents are taking part in the live entertainment we have to offer, or making use of our wonderful facilities such as our Hair Salon, Library or Cinema Room all of the activities and alternative therapies we have to offer are tailored to our residents, especially those that suffer from memory loss.
